The 3 steps website development solution

I have recently been into the task of developing a couple websites and it´s been quite a challenge because all I know about websites is just how to access and click on them.

“Do it on WordPress” for me were words like … go to sleep after a Freddy Krueger´s movie… lol!!

Well, Googling around I found myself with the SudioPress website, they have developed some products that will make life very easy for anyone trying to put a website together.

These products work together interconnected, that´s for getting the most out of them and when you read about the way they work, what and how they do, you will feel as comfortable as I did… BUT that “Can-I-do-that?” will still a little bit there and YES, you can since it is very easy as uploading an attachment to an outgoing email. The first to do is to install the Genesis Framework, that´s the base of the building

The first to do is to install the Genesis Framework, that´s the base of the building and where all the easiness lies, then choose how that building will look by choosing a Theme from the various options there and … DONE!!

After this is done, all you need is content for the site

There are 3 steps to do in order to set up an “easy” WordPress website, but before those 3 things I want to briefly cover the most basic concepts needed to have/build a website, which are:

  • A domain name: it is the name of the website you choose, the www.—-.com you find appropriate and available for your project, the cost per domain name will vary and the most common price for a domain name is (near to) $12 per year.
  • A hosting account: your website will need space in a server to allocate files, that space is rented on a year basis and it starts at prices near $150.
    • The most common places to buy domain names and hosting accounts are: BlueHost, GoDaddy and HostGator

That explained, we can move forward  and cover the 3 steps

1.- Install the WordPress Platform: Which is a few clicks away in the control panel (CPanel) of your hosting account

2.- Install Genesis FrameWorkGenesis Framework for WordPress

3.- Install any Theme of your preferenceStudioPress Premium WordPress Themes

And just after the content has been uploaded, you are just set to receive traffic!!

Why StudioPress and Genesis? Because it is ready to put your site on the top of the searches and the security to avoid intrusions is top notch.

Why don’t you check it out for yourself? IT’S EASY!!
